Golf has been my passion for nearly 50 years and I have enjoyed meeting on these golfing legends, and getting their signatures, traveling to beautiful memorable courses from Augusta, to St Andrews, to Kaanapali Hawaii, to Mexico City, The Riviera Maya, Pebble Beach and many more! But over time my collection outgrew me and I downsized my residence and have nowhere near as much space as I had in the past so I spend/waste $$$ month to month on storage fees and I am no longer enjoying my awesome collection so I think it is time to let others enjoys these great collectibles as have I over the years.
1999 Ryder Cup Flag Payne Stewart, Tiger Woods, Phil Michelson signed with proof price $1399 or $1749 (Including Ryder Cup Ticket)
This is a Ryder Cup flag signed by US Ryder Cup captain Ben Crenshaw and the 12 US team members Jim Furyk, Hal Sutton, Payne Stewart (who passed away in October of 1999 in a tragic plane crash), David Duval, Mark O'Meara, Jeff Maggert, Tom Lehman, Phil Mickelson, Davis Love III, Steve Pate, Justin Leonard and Tiger Woods.
This flag is a one-of-a-kind piece and represents one of the finest moments in golf history an American Sports championships in general. Although the flag is embroidered and now is more than 20 years old it is in mint condition and all the signatures are in permanent black Sharpie marker and very clear. The flag measures 20 x 14.
While the tournament was between September 24th and 26th 1999 in Brookline Massachusetts at the Country Club I actually ordered this flag months earlier and began acquiring all of the signatures a project which ended up taking me several years to complete. I actually was lucky enough to complete three of these flags which I framed and kept for myself and I have one remaining which is pictured here.
I can have this flag framed for you with a plaque in a similar Style that you see here in the image included that cost would be an additional $350 and would take 7 to 10 days to complete.

There are two very simple answers. #1 I rarely paid for my signatures as my hobby over the period of 40 years was to track down celebrities and have the marvelous feeling of the interaction and the accomplishment of having a unique experience compared to my friends and family. #2 My collection has become overwhelming; I don't have the space to display and I would rather not waste my money on storage fees as my priorities have changed and I am certain other collectors will find much enjoyment from my Awesome collectibles.
