Fantasy Football End Targets 2022-2023
Football season has arrived, and football fans across the country are eager to see meaningful gridiron play again. Coworkers and friends are working together to create fantasy football leagues, including our office. The Tighten End is the most crucial position that puzzles most players.
What is the best time to draft a tight ending? How do you determine the "sweet spot" in each round? This will allow you to draft the best possible end. When the year ends, who will be Tight End number 1? Will the reign of Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce as TE1 end?
These are valid questions. None of them have clear answers. However, there is hope for the many loyal readers of the awesomeartifact.com blog. Kelce appears to be able to move forward in the Kansas City Chiefs offense after the team lost a weapon like Tyreek Hill, and he is now with the Miami Dolphins. He will be double- and triple-teamed in the next season, which is often overlooked.
Although Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes had the privilege of Hill and Kelce giving nightmares to opposing defenses regarding how to match up with them in the past, this season, he won't have the same amount of firepower. Tyreek Hill was a speedy defender who could match Tyreek's incredible speed. Mahomes' arm strength and cannon-like arm strength mean that 70-yard throws are possible at any moment. This would allow Travis Kelce to move with the rest of his field. The Chiefs used Tyreek's trade to the Miami Dolphins to increase their weaponry around Patrick Mahomes. They also looked to free agency, the 2022 NFL Draft, Skyy Moore (West Michigan Broncos rookie receiver), and Marquez Valdes–Scantling (former Green Bay Packers speedster). These guys are solid but will not help Travis Kelce open up as much as Tyreek Hill did in Kansas City.
Enter Baltimore Ravens tight-end Mark Andrews to the Tight End 1. The offensive skill players may seem lightened by Lamar Jackson's Marquise Brown defeat to the Arizona Cardinals. True NFL fans know the dominance of #89 Mark Andrews in the Greg Roman-led Ravens offense. Andrews is an excellent blocker in the running and can use this to his advantage in the play-action game. Defenders won't want him to be blocked, and they will get caught up in the run action. Andrews will be able to have a lot of targets this season, which gives him an advantage over his competitors.
Jackson is also fighting to get a generational-wealth contract. He will be firing on all cylinders this season to prove that he is not just a running back playing quarterback. His mom, Lamar Jackson's excellent agent, has the honor of backing his performance during contract negotiations. This translates into Mark Andrews being Lamar Jackson's safety blanket and number one target in 2022. It'll also be helpful if Rashod Bateman, a former first-round selection, can demand coverage. He will be another target for Lamar and another player that defenses should respect.
Andrews can be drafted by most fantasy players a few rounds after Kelce. This could help you accumulate quite a lot of points this season. Andrews should be your top priority in drafting this season. You can win your league and boast about your accomplishments to your family, friends, and coworkers. Good Luck, Fantasy Players!
