Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dog, Mc Hammer, Seal, Coolio 1996 Grammys Award Program $1895

signed February 28th, 1996, outside the Shrine Auditorium as the artists/ entertainers were rehearsing and arriving for the Grammys awards show. I often share these stories with friends and acquaintances and I always preface my story with "HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED" SO today Tupac would be considered a National Treasure as is Frank Sinatra or Elvis and unquestionably a legend but in those early days of his and many rap and hip hop artists careers they did not receive the credit they deserved nor were they accepted by the media as mainstream great performers. Accordingly getting their signatures was far more easy than many people would have you believe. Bottom line they were not saught after by paparazzi or autograph collectors . This is in reality what makes their signatures rare is because in reality they were not sought after like rock stars and sports superstars or movie stars. However when you are getting signatures in person on a regular basis you learn to take and get signatures whenever the opportunity presents itself and this was the case when we got these programs from the Grammys signed. As they say saved for a rainy day . They were added to an ever-growing collection and for the most part that was the end of the story until the internet exploded and I downsized and decided to liquidate my collection since I no longer had space for it.

When you grow up 20 minutes from the entertainment capital of the world Hollywood Ca. where we host the Grammy Awards annually, we have recording studios where all of the music industries elite have been recording their hits for more than 50 years, there are iconic hotels such as the Sunset Marquis and The Chateau Mamount
that Rock n Roll artists have been staying at for years, a large amount of the music videos are produced throughout the greater Los Angeles area, then there is the likes of Melrose Ave where you could run into Kurt Cobain or Madonna buying albums at a second hand record store, or Prince doing a free signing at Tower Records, not to mention the fact that so many artists have homes here and I would often run into Bruce Springsteen at the Ivy in Beverly Hills or Jay Z and Beyonce or the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Staples center (now the Crypto Currency arena).
Sometimes bands on tour like the Rolling Stones would spend 7-10 days in Beverly Hills at the Four Seasons, they would make LA there hub and just fly into the different West Coast cities for their concert and then jump on their private jet and be back at the Four Seasons in BH that same evening. Next day would be an off day.
Speaking of flights Pre- 911 we could call Virgin or for that matter any airline and check to see if as an example flight from Tokyo was on time. My point is you could actually say you were James Hetfield and you were just confirming your flight and yes believe it or not the phone operator for the airlines would say "yes Mr. Hetfield you are scheduled on such and such a flight"
I mean it just goes on we had the Tonight Show in Burbank Ca. which Jay Leno hosted and he had artists performing on his show five days a week.
Finally, we had Las Vegas perhaps the new entertainment capitol of the world just 3 hours away by car , San Diego a 2-hour drive, and San Francisco a 5 hour drive.
I can go on and on but I think you get the point I had a 40 plus year adrenaline ride of meeting and getting signatures of the music industries greatest artists and now it is my pleasure to offer these incredible items from my personal collection to the public.

#1 you will receive the exact item pictured as these items are one of a kind
#2 you will receive a certificate of authenticity which will explain the date and location of where I obtained the signatures. Many companies offer an opinion of authenticity I am able to offer 100% guarantee of authenticity as I witness the item being signed personally and I support this claim with signing photos as well as the exact information of where the item was obtained I must say if you take a logical perspective you're getting much more from me than you would get from the so-called authentication companies that give nothing more than an opinion based on no scientific criteria whatsoever by the way
#3; we ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS within 24 to 48 hours of payment clearing and provide you with a tracking number at that time shipping is free in the United States there may be an additional cost on International orders
#4 if you're unhappy with your purchase we accept returns within 30 days of the purchase no questions asked
#5 if you would like to accentuate your item with Museum quality framing just let us know and we'll adjust the price so you can make the purchase to include the framing needless to say this process takes more than 2 to 3 days to complete generally 7 to 10 days
